New Heritage Series

This is what we are premiering today at High End 2012, The brand new Heritage Series: Bird 2, Getz 2, Miles 5 and Duke 2. Quite some upgrade we think:) Please have a look at our updated site here or download the press release here.

The Marten/Nagra room

We finished fine tuning it right on time. Here are a few quick shots of the room.

The main setup with Django XL, M•Amp Mono Power block and Nagra electronics on M•Furniture Audio Bench.

The premiere of the new Miles 5 that we will tell you more about soon.

Highend 2012

The room is really getting there and it already sounds good. There’s always a slight worry before that one of the ‘links in the chain’ will not work or so, so now we can relax. At least until it opens tomorrow.

This is a bit like that huge storage space at the end of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’:)

What’s not to love about this city. The beer flows like a golden elixir, the Weißwurst is so good you easily can have it for every meal of the day and it always seem to be sunny:) We have spent the day unpacking and are soon done. We will be back in a moment with more stuff from High End 2012.

This ‘infographic’ kept us amused for a while. The good people at popchartlab.com created this massive chart over notable haircuts in pop. Our favourite is Rod Stewart, so big and blond:)

Music on the inside

Bjoern Ewers has created these ads for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with photos taken from the inside of instruments. Beautiful stuff!

Maybe we should make ads with photos of the insides of our speakers:)

Great Django review from Paris!

‘Haute Fidélité‘, the prestigious HIFI magazine wrote:

The latest chord on the Marten guitar is called Django. It’s a beautiful instrument of music reproduction and it’s particularly well-equipped at the technical level. The quality of finish has the same prestige as the other achievements of the manufacturer. All this for a price as unexpected as reasonable for a Marten loudspeaker. A great success.
