Yet another great test of Django XL

Marten Django

Thank you very much to Stefan Gawlick at Hifi&Records in Germany for this great review. As usual, the translation is so so but hopefully you get the gist:

RESULT
How is this possible? That is the question I have asked myself many times during my time with Django. It is quite clear that one must look with a magnifying glass to find a speaker with such a bandwidth, wide soundstage, detail and balance. The joy that this speaker conveys with small competent amplifier is great. The Marten Django is a declaration of war and that a clear one!

More from Munich

It’s all over now but we still have some stuff to show. We finally managed to find some time to have a look at this HUGE show.

Silbatone Acoustics

We have featured these guys before but they are so cool that we had to stay for a listen again. Gigantic antique restored theatre and cinema speakers from Silbatone Acoustics. Very impressive.

Highend 2012

The room is really getting there and it already sounds good. There’s always a slight worry before that one of the ‘links in the chain’ will not work or so, so now we can relax. At least until it opens tomorrow.

High End 2012

This is a bit like that huge storage space at the end of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’:)

Music on the inside

Bjoern Ewers has created these ads for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with photos taken from the inside of instruments. Beautiful stuff!

Maybe we should make ads with photos of the insides of our speakers:)

Surf’s Up

There’s this amazing huge park in munich, called Englisher Garten where there are a lot of canals that you actually can swim in. At the last day of our visit last week, the weather was so warm and the park filled up with sunbathers and also surfers.

No records found, please check your short code

One of the canals has a constant wave you can surf on. Pretty cool eh?

More music in Munich

Bavarian State Opera

We would’ve loved to go to the opera here in Munich, it’s supposed to be brilliant but there’s not enough time for that unfortunately. Maybe next time.
