It’s all over…
and our favourite lunch seem a distant dream.
Everything is now packed up and on it’s way back to Sweden. It’s been a great show with many new exiting opportunities.
We’ll be back soon with some more bits from it all.

A female walking jazz band? Us neither. We bumped into these lovely ladies called ‘Lady Taxi‘ at the first floor atrium earlier today. They carry around little portable amplifiers and are a really talented bunch. They performed a few tunes but ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ was the favourite. A breath of fresh air at this rather male dominated event:) You can see a video of them here. Cheers girls!
Not really, it’s a German wooden horn instrument called Alphorn. Very special sound not dissimilar to a Didgeridoo. They have had a good few live acts at the first floor atrium. We’ll tell you all about it in a bit.
Yesterday was a busy day as usual here at the High End Show so it was real nice to hear some chilled tunes from solo bassist Dean Peer having our daily Weißwurst & pretzel. The beats was very soft sounding and the percussionist made use of one of those cool brazilian cube drums, Cajón. The setting might not have been the most inspiring but they didn’t seem to care, it sounded great anyway.
Today it was open for business people only and our room was pretty crowded most of the day so we were a bit knackered when we arrived at Marktwirt. A few of the wonderful Munich beers soon changed that though:)

So here we are in lovely Munich yet again. The room is all set up and it sounds awesome. Sharing with Nagra and Purist Audio Design makes it both more fun and also easier to participate in this rather well organised hifi show.

They were using Transparent Opus MM cable , Moon (Sim Audio) electronics and Thorens TD550 turntable which sounded great with Django XL, obviously:)
