We’re on the cover of the November’s edition of Audio Art Magazine. Or at least, Oscar Trio is.
We don’t have an official translation, but the text beneath Marten Oscar Trio reads:
“The strength is unfathomable, the beauty of the mountain M is really beautiful.”
Sounds like a good review to us.

Our clients are discerning consumers, so we made films for the Oscar series – brief introductions to Oscar Trio and Oscar Duo.
This is just the beginning of product films for Marten. In the future, we hope to give you more in-depth content. Writing scripts, creating storyboards and working with filmmakers is a new and exciting process for us – one we look forward to repeating soon.
In the meantime we hope you enjoy our Oscar films.
Our latest advert, featuring the Oscar series, may be a little to big for its own boots. In early discussions about the film, we may have used phrases like: “Out of this world”.
In reality, we believe we have achieved something by re-designing the technology and delivering sound worthy of our product range and the Marten name. Oscar pushes custom technology to its limits, performing exceptionally against higher-level Marten models.
So, please excuse our excitement and perhaps a little indulgence for this “tongue-in-cheek” advert.

Duke 2 is our entry to the Heritage range and has just received a great review over at The Ear. Having just released our latest stand speaker Oscar, it’s nice to see that a classic model is still gaining recognition.

The international shows are a great opportunity to host – something we enjoy and dare we say it, do well?
There’s nothing better than inviting people to your space, entertaining them and proudly showing what you have to offer. Munich High End is no exception.
This year we were delighted to offer the floor again to the wonderful Michael Fremer.
Sometimes you have to take risks.
May is the peak of our year, with the unveiling of new speakers: the fruit of a year’s worth of planning, design and production. At Munich High End 2019 we premiered not one; not two; but three new speakers.
Our product range was ripe for growth. It felt like the right time to launch Mingus Orchestra, expanding the Mingus series to epic proportions. The show also witnessed the premiere of our brand new series: Oscar, powered by new technology but the same Marten sound.
Creating just one speaker needs resources: boundless creative energy; passion to drive the project forward; and the investment of our most precious resource, time.
In the after-glow of Munich, we reflect on whether launching three speakers at the same time was worth it. The response from the show tells us:

As the dust settles on Munich High End 2019, we have flown East to Hong Kong for Audio & Visual Fiesta 2019.
Together with our wonderful hosts FN Audio we present our new heavyweight Mingus Orchestra, alongside Mingus SE, Jorma Statement and electronics from Orpheus.
With all the excitement of the show, there’s barely time for jet lag. That’s one tip for the frequent flyer.
Once again we have touched down in Germany for our calendar highlight of the year.
The Munich High End show is always an important one for us; it’s a chance to show what we’ve been doing for the last year.
We have three new models and a new series to premiere. Mingus Orchestra is the latest Mingus model competing in the upper end of our range. We are also proud to release Oscar Trio and Oscar Duo: a new series that offers true Marten sound at the more competitive end of the price spectrum.
For the first time we will also have a stand for Jorma Design
The show doors are open, so we look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting some new ones.
