We’re thrilled to share the latest review of Parker Trio Diamond Edition, published in Hi-Fi News’ April 2025 issue. Reviewer Mark Craven and lab expert Paul Miller took a deep dive into what makes this model a true gem in our collection, highlighting the precision that defines the Diamond Edition.

Craven praised Parker Trio Diamond Edition (DE) for its “spine-tingling” sound, particularly noting the “cutting sound of the guitar”. Listening to Anna Fedorova’s performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No 2, he expanded his thoughts about the level of detail:

“The Parker Trio Diamond's resolving abilities produced a crisp, clear sound, with every key press and pedal push easy to discern and the size and feel of the instrument in the St. Gallen venue shining through.”

The upgrade to a pure diamond tweeter, along with improved internal wiring and crossover, plays a huge role in delivering this remarkable performance. Craven noted that our speaker “sparkles, gently, with detail and clarity.” He also commended the multi-layered M-board construction and the proprietary Marten Isolators, which make the speaker feel “completely decoupled from the floor.”

In the listening tests, Parker Trio DE shone with a range of music, from the orchestral flourishes of ABC’s Viva Love to the rhythmic drive of Yello’s Junior B. The speaker’s ability to reveal the subtle textures in recordings, without losing the big, dynamic swings, was a real highlight. Craven summed it up perfectly:

“These are speakers of considerable finesse and can be utterly captivating, but they are for those who prefer fine wine to fizzy pop.”

It’s always great to see our work resonating with listeners. We put so much into every detail of Parker Trio Diamond Edition, and it’s rewarding to hear that it makes a real difference.
