Coltrane Quintet SE at Oslo HiFi Show
Last week, we were delighted to be part of the Oslo HiFi Show, where our distributor Mala Audio gave centre stage to Coltrane Quintet Statement Edition (SE). The room, which featured partners Esoteric, TechDAS, DS Audio, Jorma and Artesanía Audio, was an intimate and focused experience.
Super-audiophile, Leo Yeh from MY-HiEND, captured the mood perfectly, as only a show veteran and expert photographer could. Coltrane Quintet’s refined walnut and carbon fibre silhouette stood tall against the clean, minimal backdrop of the room, lit beautifully to show every detail.
The system featured a TechDAS turntable, with Esoteric amplification and electronics, with everything wired using Jorma Statement cables and supported by Artesanía Audio racks. The synergy between components was spot on, allowing Coltrane Quintet SE to reveal music with depth, detail and honesty.
The event was a major public showing of Coltrane Quintet SE in Norway. Featuring our finest crossover components, signature internal wiring, and ultra-low resonance construction, it’s a speaker that demands to be heard rather than described. But judging by the looks on listeners’ faces—rapt, focused, quietly moved—we think it made its point.
