First of all, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! We missed the celebrations here in Las Vegas and apparently all the casinos tried to out do each other’s fire works display so I can imagine that it was spectacular. We arrived the day before yesterday and are well excited about tomorrow’s show, CES 2011.
Zine Noodles Dim Sum, a favourite for a quiet lunch in one of the neighbouring resorts to the Venetian, Palazzo Resort.
So, the show is over and we left sunny Las Vegas for cool New York
Great day today. Loads of good music and hifi systems. There’s only one day left and we have a lot of rooms yet to see. Here are a few of the coolest ones, in our opinion.
What type of cold do you get in a place like Las Vegas? A fake one of course. Perfumed, air-conditioned air plus jet lag can feel like a real bad cold but after a good nights sleep you feel ok again. Even just a fake cold can make your energy levels low so this day dragged on a bit.
It’s funny in Vegas, without windows and clocks anywhere, you can spend a whole lot of time indoors without any idea of what time of the day it is. When you finally walk outside you are shocked to find a beautiful day with blinding sunlight…
Finally in glitzy Las Vegas and all that comes with it; casinos, Elvis impersonators, drive-in weddings and of course the biggest Electronics Show in the world. As you get used to the perfumed air (they actually scent the air in most of the casinos) it is quite a cool place to be.
