Since CES 2011 we have received a lot of attention at different places around the internet. Here are some of the mentions we’ve had:
“The system looked and sounded truly wonderful, and both amps and speakers are well worth checking out.”
Alan Sircom at The Absolute Sound
“At last year’s CES, many of my favorite rooms featured Sweden’s Marten speakers. The same held true this year.”
Thank you for the music:) Erick Lichte, at stereophile
“So, how did it sound? Simply put, it was outstanding, highly detailed, very transparent and musical at the same time.”
Key Kim at Stereotimes
“Another Swedish company making an excellent impression was Marten“
the Audio Beat
“This was one of the few rooms to treat the room, and it contributed to an intimate, stimulating demonstration.”
“Uber bass resolution.”
“Sweden’s Marten is well-regarded for its high-end speakers and takes a fair amount of pride in their audiophile-pleasing performance.”
Paul Ridden at Gizmag
A massive thank you to all of you, from all of us here at Marten.

We received a lot of attention for our brilliant diffusors from Svanå Miljöteknik in Sweden.
Apparently there's a famous building in the background but we keep the focus on more important things:)
These diffusors are the nicest looking ones that I have ever seen. They are normally rather colossal with the WAF factor on a bare minimum.

The last day of the CES 2011 we took some time to check out the posher suites upstairs from us. We bumped in to lovely Neli from Audio Federation. It’s very ‘enthusiasing’ to meet people so enthusiastic about audio.

M•Amp by night
We have a lot more to show from CES 2011 so here we go:
The new, very interesting USB Dac from Bladelius. Seems to have very high quality both in performance and appearance.

Almost all packed up and ready to go. Here’s the cable guy, Jorma Koski, taking care of his cables that we used as usual. The show is all over and we’re tired but happy with a really busy show, for us anyway. It was really great but thankfully there’s a whole year until the next one:)
Many thanks to CES 2011 and Las Vegas for another cool show.
We will be back soon with more photos and stuff from CES.
Bye for now

I know it’s only been about us so far but it’s only because we have been so busy in our own room that we haven’t been able to leave it. Here is the whole set up with the Mono Power Amplifiers, the Coltrane 2 on our new Audio Furniture. It does look pretty impressive eh?
I promise there will be more about other stuff as well tomorrow so please come back soon.
Now it’s time for some All American Burgers or something like that:)

In fact we’re still in Las Vegas, Nevada, having fun at the amazingly big CES 2011 show.

Right in time for the start of CES 2011 we have launched our brand new web site and proudly present it at marten.se. Have a look and tell us what you think. We spent a good few man-hours on getting this together, and think it works very well with Ulf Celander’s photos. Even if we do say that ourselves:)
If you are in Las Vegas for the CES 2011, we would like to welcome you to the Marten Tour. This year we have our own room with premiers for Coltrane 2 and M•Amp Mono Power Amplifier, as well as our M•Furniture range.
Coltrane 2 & M•AMP Mono Power Amplifier:
Marten, Venetian Room 30-130
You can also listen to our loudspeakers in these rooms:
Engström & Engström, Venetian Room 29-128
EAR USA, Venetian Room 30-112
Harmonic Tech, Venetian Room 30-209
Please come by and say hi. I will be back with more from CES 2011 in a bit

First of all, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! We missed the celebrations here in Las Vegas and apparently all the casinos tried to out do each other’s fire works display so I can imagine that it was spectacular. We arrived the day before yesterday and are well excited about tomorrow’s show, CES 2011.
